5 Struggles Only Swimmers Will Get

The struggles are real!
Below is a list of common problems that swimmers all around can relate to.

1. Constant Chlorine Smell

chlorineI seriously feel like I ALWAYS smell like chlorine.
Always.
My wife probably thinks it’s my cologne. Well, she actually knows better because she swims too and can relate to the struggle. But my coworkers probably think it’s my natural scent. Which sucks.

2. Water Trapped in Ears

The water will not get out of my ears!
I don’t understand.
What’s the point of gravity if it can’t help me get water out of my ears! Sorry. That was an over reaction. It just REALLY BUGS ME.

3. Accidentally Swallowing Pool Water

That stuff is nasty.
When I do this, I feel sick afterwards. Both mentally and physically.
I don’t even want to think about all the weird things floating around in it that I accidentally ingest every time I do this.
Let’s move on.. I don’t like dwelling on it.

4. Green Hair

I am not a blonde and my hair is short. But my wife has a real issue with this.
And even if she wears a swim cap, water still manages to get up there. Plus, swim caps ARE NOT comfortable. They really are the worst things of all time.

5. Tan lines.

Another wife complaint. The weird tan lines.
This is mostly a summer issue (you don’t get tan lines swimming indoors in the winter in Oregon). However, once the summer months hit and we frequent the outdoor pool, this becomes a real irritant for her.

One Problem Solved!

space grey family with logoLuckily, one age old swimming struggle has been resolved! And it’s all thanks to Underwater Audio!
Who used to get bored swimming laps back and forth with nothing but their thoughts to amuse them? Did the time seem to go by slower than, as my grandma would say, molasses in January?
Well no more!
Now you can have a soundtrack to listen to in the background while you swim! All you need is a Waterproof iPod Shuffle by Underwater Audio. Trust me, you want one. It makes the whole experience so much more enjoyable! If you have any comments or questions, feel free to write us in the section below.
