Summer is soon approaching! And you know what that means… summer vacation!
I thought I’d make a list in advance of some of the greatest most glorious places to vacation in my opinion. The uniting quality among these hot spots is their swim appeal.
These have seriously got to be some of the most gorgeous bodies of water on the planet. Let’s start with the location closest to home:
Crater Lake is awesome for many, many reasons. Much more than just the fact that it is found so close to home.
The awesome thing about this lake is the deep blue, clear water. It’s truly something to marvel over. That is what makes it such a cool place to swim!
The crater was formed by the collapse of the volcano, Mount Mozama, around 7,700 years ago. That’s what makes this, by definition, a caldera lake. Fun fact: Crater Lake is the deepest lake in the United States. It is 1,943 feet deep. So, not only is it a fantastic place to swim for it’s many features, it’s also a cool national park.
One of the most breath-taking beaches on the face of the earth is located in the exotic islands of Thailand. This is possibly why the location was featured in a popular Leonardo Dicaprio film in the year 2000.
“The islands came to worldwide prominence when Ko Phi Phi Leh was used as a location for the 2000 British-American film The Beach.”
Is it really the most beautiful beach on earth? Who can say… that’s totally subjective. But one thing is undeniable. It would be AWESOME to swim there.
I lived in the Philippines for 2 years so I’m a little biased when I say that this is the best island on earth.
Turns out, I’m not the only one that thinks that. Featured in many tourist lists all over the internet, the Palawan Islands are definitely worth the trip.
And the first thing I do when I go back to visit is SWIM in that gorgeous water.
With summer travels approaching, we have more purpose now than ever before to use our favorite waterproof device!
So, grab your Underwater Audio Waterproof iPod Shuffle and get going to the pool, lake, ocean, or island of your choosing.
I know that’s what I’m planning to do as many times as physically possible. The music will definitely make the experience that much more awesome and relaxing!

This pandemic has taught me that while I can’t control what’s going on in the world, I can control my mindset. For me, this looks like finding a few things to be grateful for each morning... With that said, I wanted to share my gratitude list with all of you:
