Exercise Rivals: Biking Versus Swimming

These two contenders have been circling each other in the lower brackets for years.
They have trained! They have raced and fought and raced some more! They have worked their way through the rankings and into your heart and tonight it will all be settled!
That’s right folks, it’s biking versus swimming for the Exercise Heavy Weight Belt!
So, let’s go to Ivan Olson, our ring side correspondent, for all the action. Ivan….

Thanks Jerry. Alright, let’s have a look at how these two fighters stand up, shall we?

SWIMMING                                                                                                           
Burns 500-700 calories per hour, Southpaw, Proficient in many different strokes, Leads to lower heart rate and greater blood flow, Low impact workout, Full body workout.
BIKING
Burns 590-1000 calories per hour, 67 inch reach, Straightforward rider, Lowers heart rate and increases blood flow, Great Leg Workout, Low impact workout.
This looks like it will be quite a fight!       
                                         

Round 1

The bell rings and both fighters charge to the center to circle each other. Punches are exchanged but it looks like a low impact workout. Biking comes straight forward pedaling punches left, right, and left again, but he can’t seem to catch swimming as he uses different strokes to give biking a full body workout.
Biking is starting to look a bit stationary. Well folks, it looks like it could be winding down. Biking looks winded and swimming looks like he can still do laps.
download (8)Now swimming is working the back, and shoulders, chest, core, and legs! And HE’S DOWN! MR. WHEELS HIMSELF HAS GONE DOWN! THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE! The Referee, Jon Fargo, is now at his side giving the count: 10…9…8…7…6…5…4…3…2…1!
That’s it! That’s the fight! Swimming is the winner by first round knock out and is the Exercise Heavy Weight Champion!!!!!!!
