What sets it apart from regular yoga? Why is it better?
Well, what makes it different is that it is performed under hot and humid conditions. There are a couple added benefits of doing so.
First, it can increase a person’s flexibility while they perform the poses. Second, it is designed to mimic the climate of India, where yoga was invented.
Altering the conditions of a colder environment to a hotter one supposedly helps ensure the exercise is working as it was intended. Third, it makes you seem way more hardcore.
I used to consider hot yoga a form of torture. But I now know it by it’s merits. And I respect it. You can get such a rush and a cleanse from sweating all your toxins out. And trust me… there is A LOT of sweat.
Which is why I decided to use my Waterproof iPod Shuffle while I perform super sweaty yoga on the beach in the summer. I get a lot of the added benefits,
I can soothe my pain with my favorite music, the heat helps improve my flexibility and the sweat is no big deal because my iPod is WATERPROOF!
As you start your journey to becoming a pro yogie, I would love to recommend my favorite waterproof music player. It’s called the Waterproof iPod Shuffle from Underwater Audio.
You will NEVER have to worry about busting your Waterproof iPod due to sweat. It is the most durable, reliable unit of it’s kind.
