When I get really into a sport or any activity, I want to know all I can about it, which is why I had a subscription for Woodcarvers monthly. I was going to be the best…Okay maybe not.
But unless you know someone else doing your sport, you may not know where to get the latest information from. When I got into swimming, I had to go and find the best resources I could.
So, let me help you out and point you in the right direction.
If you want to learn a great way to swim and improve your technique, you should try Swimming Made Easy By Terry Laughlin. It is full of great ways to get faster while using up less energy and fewer strokes.
If reading isn’t what you want, there is also a DVD that can go along with the book and give a visual depiction of the concepts.
I love getting things in the mail. And by things I mean magazines, not bills.
So, when I went looking for the best swimming magazine out there, it was great because for awhile I was getting a ton!
Over time, the one that has stayed the best is Swimming World Magazine. It is always full of great tips and stories to keep me in the pool and swimming away. If you like getting mail like I do, you should go with Swimming World Magazine.
If you are more tech savvy than me, which isn’t really hard, you may want to go online for tips and stories to keep you going.
If that’s the case, I’ve got the perfect place for you. Go to www.underwateraudio.com and go to the blog section.
It is full of fun stories and helpful hints that will encourage you to improve your swim style.
I hope this helps you find some good resources to assist you in swimming better and faster.
Don’t forget when you go swimming to pick up your Underwater Audio Waterproof iPod Shuffle so that you can rock out while putting those laps behind you.
